Some highlights from our free Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) Form 1 certification session yesterday!

It was heartening to see so many of our residents taking proactive steps towards future planning.

A huge thank you to our lawyers and volunteers for working together to help bring this event to life and to make the certification process even more accessible to our residents.

Yip Hon Weng 叶汉荣 distributed handmade crochet flowers, lovingly made by PAP Yio Chu Kang Women’s Wing activists and volunteers, at the market and coffee shops to celebrate Mother’s Day.

PAP Yio Chu Kang extends heartfelt Mother’s Day wishes to all mothers, thanking them for their endless love, strength, sacrifices, and dedication to their families. May all mothers be blessed with good health, happiness, peace, and many joyful moments with their loved ones.

Today, we brought the joy of Chinese New Year into the homes of our Yio Chu Kang residents, delivering warm reunion dinners straight to their doorsteps. 🧧🍊We’re especially grateful for the strong turnout of enthusiastic riders who stepped forward to ensure every meal was delivered with care. It truly takes a village to build our community.

As we usher in the Year of the Horse, may we carry forward the spirit of togetherness and care that keeps our YCK family closely connected.

Spreading warmth and festive cheer across Yio Chu Kang as we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse🧧🍊

It was a joy walking around the neighbourhood this morning as the PAP YCK team distributed mandarin oranges to residents in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year. Grateful for the smiles and conversations that make our home so special!

A Saturday morning filled with warmth and a strong sense of community!

Over the weekend, we invited our residents to join us for a grocery shopping trip at NTUC. With the help of our volunteers, we filled shopping carts - some with daily essentials, others with food for the festive season ahead, providing a little extra support for those who need it most.

We made a trip out to the Parliament House this morning to learn more about its rich history and to gain insights into the proceedings of a parliamentary session.

One of the key highlights of our tour would probably be getting a glimpse into the chamber through the public gallery, and seeing first hand where some of the key decisions are made in Singapore.
