Please be aware of this overnight work beginning Sept. 14.

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will shift all eastbound Interstate 70 lanes to the left and reduce lane widths to 10-foot lanes at Route Z starting overnight from 9 p.m. Monday, September 14. This lane shift and width reduction will be in place by the morning commute Tuesday, September 15 and remain in place through spring 2027. All work is weather permitting.
In addition to the lane shifts and lane reductions, the eastbound I-70 exit ramp to Route Z (exit 209) will be closed for 30 days starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 8. Crews will be working on connecting the new paving to the interstate and exit ramp.

If you believe a solicitor is violating City regulations, don't wait.
The most effective way to report a violation is to call the Wentzville Police Department's nonemergency line at (636) 327-5105 while the activity is occurring.

When reports are made in real time, officers can respond, observe the situation and take appropriate action if needed.

A social media post or comment after the solicitor has left may raise awareness, but it generally doesn't provide enough information for enforcement.

Investing in Parks and Recreation

Strong participation in recreation programs and steady sales tax revenue continue to support Wentzville's parks, facilities and community events. The increase in the Park Fund balance is primarily due to the timing of budgeted capital improvement projects that were deferred beyond 2025. As a result, those funds remained available and will support future improvements while continuing to provide resources to maintain and enhance the parks, facilities and programs residents enjoy. Careful financial planning helps ensure residents can continue enjoying quality places to play, gather and connect — both today and in the future. These resources help the City to:

- Operate and maintain the Wentzville Rec Center and local parks.
- Offer recreation programs and community events.
- Meet existing park-related debt obligations.
- Plan responsibly for future maintenance and improvements.
