On May 26th the CFMPA held a Special Parade in the Academy to Honour some Students and some Staff with Promotions, Honouring Students from Rooker's Platoon who past their P.O.s (in Platoon 2601) with their Red Beret, and Badges. Both MPOC and TQ3 courses stood as Honour Guards. Pictures by Mentor Norm Rooker.
From CFMPA Orders...
"CFMPA will parade for the occasion of a Red Beret, Badging, Promotion at the CFMPA Theatre, CFB Borden, with all CFMPA staff requested to attend. This ceremony is conducted for a limited number of candidates graduating ahead of the main serial, requiring a standalone event."
The ceremony will proceed as follows:
1. Arrival of Reviewing Officer.
2. Opening Remarks.
3. Command Team Commendations.
4. CD and CD Clasp Presentations.
5. Promotions (Students followed by Staff).
6. Red Beret Presentation (MPJPC).
7. MP Badge and Credentials Presentation.
8. Commissioning Scroll Presentation (MPOC).
9. Reviewing Officer Remarks.
10. Closing Remarks.
11. Departure of Reviewing Officer.
