The Chickasaw Nation We are a federally recognized First American tribe of 82,000 citizens. Bill Anoatubby is the current Governor of the Chickasaw Nation.

The Chickasaw Nation has tribal government headquarters located in Ada, Oklahoma and tribal jurisdiction in all, or parts, of 13 counties in south-central Oklahoma. The Chickasaw Nation provides a multitude of programs and services for its citizens. The programs and services include Children, Youth, Community, Culture, Education, Elders, Employment, Enterprises/Commerce, Family, Government, Health

The citizenship application establishes citizenship in the Chickasaw Nation and is open to Chickasaws who are direct descendants of enrollees on the Dawes Commission Rolls. The applicant must first establish the CDIB (Certified Degree of Indian Blood) in order to apply for citizenship. Once the applicants have submitted the application, they will receive the photo I.D. citizenship card and certificate, welcoming them to the Chickasaw Nation. The Chickasaw Nation Summer EBT Program is accepting applications!

First American and non-First American students enrolled in participating schools and receiving free and reduced-cost school meals may qualify for free food this summer. Qualifying families receive an EBT card (works like a debit card) to purchase healthy food for the summer.

To apply online or for more information, visit Chickasaw.net/SummerEBT. To apply over the phone, call (580) 272-1178 or (844) 256-3467, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

At just 11 years old, Chickasaw citizen Cooper Prince of Marietta, Oklahoma, is already building a future based on service to others.

From welding alongside his grandfather to earning top honors for his projects, Cooper has developed a strong work ethic at a young age. He also serves as a leader in 4-H and is advancing in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, where he continues to grow through training and leadership opportunities.

Congratulations to Chickasaw citizen Gabrielle Nucosee on her selection as Miss Native American ECU 2026–27 by the Native American Student Association (NASA) at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

Ms. Nucosee, a freshman mass communication major at ECU, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for receiving top honors at the second annual NASA Princess Pageant, which judged contestants on regalia, onstage talent, onstage question, stage presence and congeniality.

We wish her success as she represents the university and her tribal community as Miss Native American ECU.

The 2026 First American Junior Golf Open will take place at the Oak Hills Country Club in Ada, Oklahoma, on June 5.

Young First American golfers will develop golf techniques in a tournament atmosphere without the pressures of a school or golf association tournament.

The tournament will also be a qualifier for Chickasaw youth, ages 10-18, to join the Team Chickasaw golf team with 10 spots available.

Registration fee is $40 and covers cart fees, tournament fees and other necessities. Deadline to apply is May 27.

Visit the new stickball field in Ardmore!

This field, located at the Chickasaw Youth Club (C*C), 625 Locust St. in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is open to the public for use. The field will be open Saturday and Sunday from sunup to sundown and unavailable Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., when the C*C is open. The field will also be open when the C*C is closed for holidays.

Field rules are as follows:
- Drop-in play will be allowed as long as it does not interfere with C*C.
- Trash must be picked up and area must be kept clean.
- If a ball is lost over the fence at the C*C, contact it for retrieval when they are open.
- Parking is located on the west side of the building.
- Use only designated parking, no vehicles on grass.
- Do not move equipment or goal without permission.
- Pets must be leashed, and owners must clean up after them.
- The field may be closed at any time for safety concerns, weather or maintenance.
- Violation of rules may result in removal of privileges for the community.
- No alcohol or drugs on the premises.

This summer, visit the Chickasaw Cultural Center (CCC)!

The CCC has many great resources and experiences, such as cultural demonstrations, art exhibits, archives, collections, research and other activities that allow guests to become immersed in Chickasaw culture, language, history and the arts. Through the Holisso: The Center for Study of Chickasaw History and Culture, visitors can explore genealogy and family history, in addition to historical information pertaining to Chickasaw and other Southeastern Indian tribes.

On May 16, you can visit the CCC and experience Tribal Ag Day! This event will focus on agricultural traditions of our past, current tribal initiatives and the future of Indigenous agriculture. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy special themed film screenings, interact with vendors, participate in kid planting activities and more!
