Our Aboriginal Community Engagement Officers will be on hand to answer discrimination questions and tell you how we can help.

📍 We're in Broken Hill!

Today, Anti-Discrimination NSW staff met with local community workers, lawyers and service providers as part of our commitment to bringing information and services directly to communities across NSW.

Getting out into regional communities is an important way for us to hear about local issues, build connections, and ensure people know their rights and where to get help if they experience discrimination.

Today's session brought together stakeholders from across the Far West region to learn more about anti-discrimination law, complaint pathways, and the support available to people experiencing discrimination, sexual harassment, vilification or unlawful conversion practices.

Racism can hide in our workplace systems, writing the story of who belongs and who doesn't, whose rights matter and whose don't. It makes people feel unseen, unheard and unsafe.

Today Anti-Discrimination NSW joined Sydney Region Aboriginal Corporation at their Community Hub Day in Penrith.

Thanks to all those who dropped by for a yarn to learn how we can support people who experience discrimination, sexual harassment or vilification in NSW.

We are committed to providing culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members across NSW.

Anti-Discrimination NSW is hosting a free information session in Broken Hill.

This is an opportunity for community workers, lawyers and other local service providers to learn about Anti-Discrimination NSW services including unlawful discrimination under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW) and the new civil complaints scheme under the Conversion Practices Ban Act 2024 (NSW).
