Personnel from Meycauayan City Jail-Male Dormitory under the leadership and guidance of ๐™…๐˜พ๐™„๐™‰๐™Ž๐™‹ ๐˜ฟ๐™…๐™Š๐™ƒ๐˜ผ๐™‰๐™‰๐™” ๐™‡ ๐˜ฟ๐™Š๐™ˆ๐™„๐™‰๐™‚๐™Š, City Jail Warden, and personnel from Meycauayan City Jail-Female Dormitory headed by ๐™…๐™Ž๐™„๐™‰๐™Ž๐™‹ ๐™ˆ๐˜ผ ๐˜พ๐™๐™„๐™Ž๐™๐™„๐™‰๐˜ผ ๐™ ๐˜ฝ๐™๐™Ž๐˜ผ๐˜พ๐˜ผ๐™”, Acting City Jail Warden, actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela initiative held at Academic Senior High School City of Meycauayan (ASHSCOM), Barangay St. Francis (Gasak), and City of Meycauayan Senior High School (COMSHS), Barangay Malhacan, City of Meycauayan, Bulacan.

The activity aimed to support the Department of Educationโ€™s preparations for the upcoming school year by promoting volunteerism, strengthening community collaboration, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students and school personnel.

At ASHSCOM, the personnel rendered voluntary services through beautification and maintenance activities, including watering of plants to sustain greenery and enhance the school environment. General cleaning was also conducted, such as sweeping of designated areas and scrubbing of the school stage flooring to remove dirt and stains, thereby improving its cleanliness and appearance.

At COMSHS, prior to the conduct of cleaning and maintenance activities, the personnel attended the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program of the school and expressed their commitment through the signing of the Commitment Wall, signifying shared responsibility in supporting the program. Thereafter, they assisted in digging and cultivating soil in the school garden and installing hollow blocks to improve its structure and layout. They also removed cobwebs from ceilings and other facilities and conducted general cleaning activities across the school premises to promote safety, cleanliness, and orderliness.

The activity aimed to increase public awareness and understanding of the government's peace and development initiatives, promote community participation in safeguarding peace and order, and encourage vigilance against the recruitment activities and influence of insurgent and terrorist groups.

During the information drive, the personnel provided a brief orientation to community members and emphasized the importance of responsible citizenship, reporting suspicious activities to proper authorities, and supporting programs that contribute to a safer and more progressive society.

As part of the collective effort to prepare schools for the opening of classes, personnel from Meycauayan City Jail-Male & Female Dormitory rendered voluntary services including classroom cleaning, wiping and arranging chairs and tables, transferring cabinets and other school furniture, and repainting classroom walls, chairs, and teachersโ€™ tables. These activities were undertaken to help provide learners and educators with a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the Jail Bureau in promoting community engagement and strengthening partnerships with educational institutions through the spirit of volunteerism and bayanihan.

The audit was conducted by ๐™›๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง (4) ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ง๐™จ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ก ๐™›๐™ง๐™ค๐™ข ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐˜ฝ๐™…๐™ˆ๐™‹๐™๐™Š-๐™„๐™„๐™„ to assess the jail unit's adherence to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

During the audit, relevant documents, records, processes, and operational procedures were reviewed and evaluated to ensure conformity with established quality standards. The activity also provided an opportunity to identify best practices, areas for improvement, and corrective measures necessary to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the jail unit's services and operations.

The activity commenced with an opening prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by inspiring messages from school officials, barangay representatives, and participating stakeholders. During the program, representative from Meycauayan City Jail-Male & Female Dormitory, highlighted the Jail Bureau's dedication to public service and its continued support for educational initiatives through volunteerism and community partnership. Participating personnel joined fellow volunteers in various Brigada Eskwela activities, including the transfer and arrangement of classroom chairs and tables to help prepare a conducive learning environment for students as they gear up for the new academic year.
