💃 Artist Spotlight #4: David Herrera Dance 💃

Get ready to hit the dance floor! 🎶

We're excited to welcome to the Best Southwest Hispanic Heritage Fest 2026!

With more than 20 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, and instructor, David Herrera has built a reputation for bringing passion, energy, and world-class talent to every performance. From appearing at the premiere of DreamWorks' Puss in Boots to teaching and competing on stages across the country and around the world, David has dedicated his career to sharing the transformative power of dance.

His impressive list of accomplishments includes multiple first-place finishes at the World Salsa Fest in Los Angeles, recognition as Best Salsa Dance Instructor in DFW, performances in front of thousands at major dance events, and even teaching salsa internationally in Cape Town, South Africa. Most recently, David and his students brought home top honors at the 2026 World Salsa Fest, continuing a tradition of excellence that has inspired dancers for years.

At Hispanic Heritage Fest, you'll have the chance to experience that energy firsthand with a performance that celebrates the vibrant rhythms and traditions of Latin dance. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just love watching incredible talent on stage, this is a show you won't want to miss!

Today was all about good music, sweet treats and even sweeter memories at the City of Lancaster Senior Life Center! Seniors came together for an exciting Ice Cream Sock Hop, enjoying delicious ice cream, listening to classic tunes, dancing and celebrating life with friends and fellow community members.

The room was filled with laughter, smiles and plenty of dancing as our seniors showed that you’re never too old to have a little fun!

💬 “This is what community is all about — celebrating life,” one senior shared, encouraging other seniors to come out, meet new friends and join in on the fun.

The Senior Life Center is more than a place to gather — it’s a place to build friendships, make memories and enjoy life together. ❤️
