Earlier this week, the City of Malden DPW Highway Department, along with the Malden Public Library and the Malden Tree Warden, installed a commemorative bell at Bell Rock Park. This installation honors the 250th anniversary of the Malden Instructions, which not only served as a significant contribution to the American Revolution but also stands as a seminal document in the city's history.

H.5443 An Act relative to increasing access to epinephrine

H.5441 An Act relative to newborn screenings for congenital cytomegalovirus

S.2903 An Act honoring Blue Star Families

S.2565 An Act facilitating better interactions between police officers and persons with autism spectrum disorder

I am pleased to share that the City of Malden has been awarded $852,846.03 in construction funding through MassDOT's Shared Streets and Spaces Program.

This program provides essential assistance to help municipalities design and implement changes to shared outdoor spaces, such as plazas, sidewalks, curbs, streets, bus stops, and parking areas. These improvements are intended to support public health, ensure safe mobility, and revitalize our local economy and community.
