Colts Neck Memorial Day Parade cancelled. Just received from Mayor Viola >> Canceling parade, going to be a swamp. We will hold a ceremony at Fire House #2 on Conover Rd at 11:15am followed by hot dogs. Please spread the word.

It is with deep sadness that I post of John Jacoby's passing. John was one of the original members of the Friends of the Library that built the library at no cost to the town. John continued to be a Friend that you would always see at the Art Shows serving wine at the Preview and also manning the art show with his wife, Joanne. He also regularly worked sorting for the book sale, and setup with Joanne. He along with Arnold Kleeburg put together a request for bid when the Friends replaced the carpeting in the main part of the library and the Children's room. John was a "Doer" that this town sorely missed when he moved out of Colts Neck in 2016.

Hello! We're trying to spread the word about seeking local extras for our film shoot! Can you help us share this info? Thanks!!

We are filming period scenes for a documentary about Bell Labs in Holmdel, NJ next week and need background extras! No experience necessary, all are welcome. Volunteer opportunity— no pay but a great experience. We are especially looking for people available April 28. Scan the QR code to join us! In partnership with Infinite Films, Story is producing a creative-nonfiction adaptation of the book "The Idea Factory" by Jon Gertner. The movie will be shooting on location in Holmdel, New Jersey Spring 2026.
