The biggest upgrade isn't always a bigger house. Sometimes it's a better lifestyle.

More families are leaving busy cities, not just because they want more space, but because they want a community that fits the way they want to live.

Places like Castle Pines are attracting buyers who are looking for more than square footage.

They want easy access to parks, trails, and open space.

They want neighborhoods where people know each other.

Community events.

Family gatherings.

Walkable streets.

A slower pace.

Less congestion.

Less stress.

Because when you genuinely enjoy where you live, it changes your day-to-day life in ways that a larger home never could.

The right community helps you spend more time outside, connect with your neighbors, and create the kind of lifestyle that's hard to put a price on.

**Comment "LIFE"** and I'll personally message you the Colorado communities I recommend based on what's most important to you and your family.

Most people start their home search by looking at square footage.

I think they should start by thinking about how they actually want to live.

The truth is, your neighborhood often has a bigger impact on your happiness than your floor plan.

Before you choose a home, think about your everyday routine.

Do you want trails just minutes away?

A neighborhood you can walk through?

An easy school drop-off?

Community events that help you feel connected?

Maybe even the occasional bobcat wandering through the open space. That's part of Colorado living, too.

Your commute affects your stress.

Your neighborhood influences how often you get outside, how active you are, and how much quality time you spend with your family.

The best neighborhood isn't always the most expensive one.

It's the one that supports the lifestyle you want to live every single day.

A great backyard doesn't just add value to your home. It adds value to your life.

One of my favorite parts of our home is the outdoor space Tamara and I have created together.

She's the real master gardener, and every season we enjoy growing fresh strawberries and other plants. There's something incredibly rewarding about sitting down to a meal knowing some of the food on your table came from your own backyard.

But it's more than just the garden.

It's the patio where we host family barbecues.

The fire pit where conversations last long after the sun goes down.

The outdoor couch where we relax after a busy day.

Backing to open space only makes it that much better.

A home isn't just about what's inside the walls. The outdoor spaces often become the places where some of life's best memories are made.

If you're looking for a home that fits the lifestyle you want to live, let's find the one that's right for you.

Bigger isn't always better anymore.

For a long time, buyers focused on square footage.

Today, they're asking a different question:

**"How will this home fit the way we actually live?"**

More families are realizing that lifestyle matters more than having an extra room that never gets used.

They're prioritizing communities with trails, parks, restaurants, and walkable neighborhoods.

They're looking for functional floor plans instead of oversized homes with wasted space.

Because where you live shapes your daily routine.

It influences how often you get outside, how much time you spend with family, and how connected you feel to your community.

That's why lifestyle has become one of the biggest factors in today's home search.

Another episode of Farmer Ryan & Tamara... 🍓🌸

People always ask why we spend so much time in the garden.

For me, I'm mostly the professional plant holder. 😄

Tamara is the one with the real green thumb.

She loves growing beautiful flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, and creating a space that attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.

The best part?

It's more than just gardening.

It reminds her of her grandparents and the traditions she grew up with.

She even enjoys canning what we grow so we can enjoy it all winter long.

There's something special about harvesting food from your own backyard and sharing it with family.

And today... we picked our first strawberries of the season.

Not a bad start if you ask me. 🍓

It's moments like these that remind us a home isn't just about the house—it's about the life you build around it.

The backyard isn't just extra space anymore. It's becoming one of the biggest reasons people choose a home.

Today's buyers aren't just shopping for square footage.

They're looking for a lifestyle.

A backyard means a place for kids to play.

Room for pets to run.

A space to entertain friends, start a garden, work out, enjoy dinner outside, or simply unwind after a long day.

Homes that support healthier, more connected daily routines are becoming a top priority—and buyers are paying attention.

When you're looking for a home, you're not just choosing where you'll live.

You're choosing how you'll live.

Another episode of Farmer Ryan & Tamara... 🌱

Today's lesson: Why dethatching your lawn actually matters.

If you want thick, healthy grass, it all starts with preparation.

Over time, dead grass and debris—called thatch—build up on the surface. When that layer gets too thick, water and nutrients have a harder time reaching the soil and the roots below.

That's where dethatching comes in.

Clear out the dead grass.

Aerate if your lawn needs it.

Water it well.

Give those roots what they need, and you'll set your yard up for a healthy growing season.

A little work now can make a big difference later.

We're definitely not professional landscapers around here... but Tamara and I have learned a few things along the way, and taking care of your yard is one of those simple projects that pays off all summer long.

Stay tuned for the next episode of Farmer Ryan & Tamara! 🌿
