Members of our Club led a delegation to our nation’s capital to participate in the White Cross Project, hosted by our friends at Lex Libertas and co-sponsored by the NYYRC. Together we planted 3,000 white crosses on the National Mall — each one commemorating a heinous and unprovoked farm murder in South Africa. Racially charged hate speech against White Afrikaners and other ethnic minority groups is the accepted norm in South Africa and has resulted in these dire consequences, which was first elevated to the American consciousness by our President Donald J. Trump.
In a time where our own Mayor is holding up the race-based political system in South Africa as the model for our city, this Club finds it more important than ever to advocate against the persecution facing our civilizational kin across the globe. The Afrikaners are inherently a Western people, and the rhetorical, political, and physical attacks on their lives, land, and livelihoods are an attack on the West as a whole.
