This week, Human Rights First launched its new ICE Flight Monitor (IFM) Dashboard, an interactive digital tool that provides visual insight into recent flight data and shines a light on the Trump administration's cruel deportation campaign.

The launch coincides with the release of IFM's June 2026 report, which tracked 288 removal flights. Throughout June, IFM tracked a continued escalation of forced third country transfers, with 15 confirmed flights reaching at least nine countries in June alone, including a first-time flight to the Central African Republic, carrying people who sought safety in the U.S., who were then exposed to extreme insecurity and harm.

ICE Flight Monitor, housed at Human Rights First, has released its latest monthly report, with May 2026 showing the continued escalation of the Trump administration's cruel mass deportation campaign.

In the last month, ICE Flight Monitor tracked 288 removal flights to 38 countries, largely driven by a continued increase in removal flights to Mexico, an expansion of forced third country transfers, and continued high domestic transfer flight volumes.

These flights raise grave human rights concerns—they are conducted without due process and in violation of the rights of the individuals being removed, many of whom are in ongoing immigration or asylum proceedings. ICE Flight Monitor uses data-driven reporting to shine a light on these abuses and to seek accountability.

Today's House Judiciary Committee hearing is political theater meant to discredit the and undermine the civil rights movement as a whole.

The horrific shooting at the San Diego Islamic Center on Monday is yet another example of the outsized threat of white supremacist ideologies, and the critical need for the work SPLC engages in combatting hate. We must stand together against this attack on our civil rights and reject hate and extremism in all forms.
