IN PHOTOS | On June 23, 2026, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office – National Capital Region (DSWD FO-NCR), through its Risk Resiliency Program on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (RRP-CCAM), conducted a Sustainability Strategy Training for Project LAWA at BINHI partner-beneficiaries in Pasay City.

The training equipped beneficiaries with practical strategies to sustain project gains through effective resource management, community participation, and long-term planning. Participants also exchanged best practices and explored ways to strengthen local partnerships in support of climate resilience, food security, and sustainable community development.

⚠️ PABATID SA PUBLIKO ⚠️

Ang tanggapan ng DSWD Field Office-NCR sa Sta. Mesa, Manila at ang Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU) Legarda ay sarado ngayong araw ng Miyerkules (June 24) para sa selebrasyon ng ika-455 Founding Anniversary ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

Bukas naman ang iba pang opisina ng CIU sa Baclaran at CAMANAVA.

Nakaantabay naman ang Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) ng Field Office-NCR para sa emergency purposes.

Magbabalik naman ang operasyon sa susunod na araw (June 25, 2026).

TINGNAN | Nakiisa ang Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office – National Capital Region (DSWD FO-NCR) sa Lab for All na isinagawa ngayong Martes, June 23, sa Makati Coliseum, sa pangunguna ni First Lady Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos.

Bilang bahagi ng suporta ng DSWD sa programa, namahagi ang DSWD FO-NCR ng 1,500 Family Food Packs (FFPs) at nagkaloob ng Financial Assistance sa mga kwalipikadong benepisyaryo upang makatulong sa kanilang agarang pangangailangan.

Ang Lab for All ay isang convergence program ng pamahalaan na naglalayong ilapit sa mga komunidad ang iba't ibang pangunahing serbisyo ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno, kabilang ang serbisyong pangkalusugan, serbisyong panlipunan, at iba pang programang nagtataguyod ng kapakanan ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng pakikiisa sa mga ganitong inisyatiba, patuloy na isinusulong ng DSWD ang paghahatid ng maagap, maaasahan, at makataong serbisyo para sa mga nangangailangan.

PAGPUPUGAY SA HALIGI NG TAHANAN: LIBRENG LUNCHBOX, MEDICINE CONTAINER AT TOOLKIT PARA SA DSWD FO-NCR 4Ps STAFF

TINGNAN | Nakatanggap ng lunchbox, medicine container at toolkit ang piling kawani ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ng DSWD Field Office-NCR nitong Lunes (June 22) bilang paggunita sa Father's day.

Bahagi ito ng wellness program ng 4Ps sa mga amang nagsisikap upang mabigyan ng maayos na pamumuhay, pagmamahal at proteksyon ang kanyang pamilya.

Isang maikling programa ang isinagawa para bigyan sila ng pagkilala at nagkaroon rin ng "Dad Got Talent", kung saan ipinamalas ng mga tatay hindi lamang ang kanilang pagmamahal at dedikasyon sa pamilya, kundi maging ang kanilang natatanging mga talento.

UPDATE | Patuloy ang Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office – National Capital Region (DSWD FO-NCR), sa pamamagitan ng Quick Response Team (QRT), sa pagbibigay ng agarang tulong sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng magnitude 7.8 na lindol sa General Santos City at mga karatig na lugar. Ngayong Martes (June 23) namahagi ang DSWD ng pananghaliang pagkain gamit ang DSWD Mobile Kitchen para sa 1,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) na pansamantalang nanunuluyan sa mga evacuation centers ng Glan, Sarangani.

Ang inisyatibong ito ay bahagi ng augmentation support ng DSWD FO-NCR sa DSWD Field Office XII, bilang tugon sa patuloy na pangangailangan ng mga pamilyang apektado ng kalamidad at upang mapalakas ang disaster response operations sa rehiyon.

IN PHOTOS | EGV Residents Bag Gold Medals in Men's and Women's Categories at 2026 Special Olympics Badminton National Cup

Four (4) residents from the Elsie Gaches Village (EGV) bagged gold medals in the Men's and Women's Doubles events at the 2026 Special Olympics Pilipinas (SOP) Badminton National Cup held from June 13 to 15, 2026, at the Biñan City Senior High School West Campus in Laguna.

Kenneth Duremdez and Leonardo “Jojo” Limbaga showed great teamwork and skill to claim the championship title in the Men's Doubles event. Meanwhile, in the Women’s Doubles division, Jan-jan Say and Angela Estrael also delivered an impressive performance to secure the gold medal.

The twin championship victories were the result of months of dedicated preparation. Supported by committed houseparents, coaches, and activity coordinators, the resident-athletes underwent intensive training that combined adaptive fitness programs with specialized badminton drills. Through consistent practice and mentorship, they transformed determination into success on the national stage.

Upon returning home to Muntinlupa City, the athletes received a warm welcome from fellow residents and staff. Their success serves as an inspiration to the entire EGV community and proves that with determination and support, everyone can achieve great things.

The Special Olympics Pilipinas is an organization that empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities through inclusive sports.

UPDATE | Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na augmentation efforts ng DSWD Field Office-NCR sa earthquake affected areas sa Sarangani province, 1,000 hot meals para sa pananghalian ang ibinahagi sa mga Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) na nasa Glan Central Elementary School at the Tent City ng nasabing munisipalidad ngayong Lunes (June 22).

Ito ang pagtutulungan ng mga Field Offices ng DSWD para mabigyan ng suporta at agarang pangangailangan ang mga naapektuhan ng sunod-sunod na lindol.
