9 August honors the historic 9 August 1956 March to the Parliament in Pretoria by 20 000 women led by members of the Black Sash that included Helen Josephs Lilian Ngoyi and Sophia DE Bruyn. They wanted the Pass Laws to be removed. Today it's celebrated across the country with events focused on women's rights and empowerment.

At Wesfleur Library we have our Adult librarian Mario and Bedrika educating the woman of Atlantis about woman's day.

Day 4 of Holiday Programme brought about SAPS and a safety talks.

Day 3 brought about Law Enforcement Equestrian Unit... Horses and All 🐴😆

We also had LiBee our Mascot here to entertain the kids and play with the horses...but LiBee was not allowed to ride the horse😔

Kids was told bout the importance of the unit within LE and why they need to make use of them.... our kiddies got to touch them pose with them as well.
