Sometimes, a small light can open the door to a brighter future. 💡
For children growing up in communities without access to electricity, something as simple as reading a book or completing homework after sunset can become a daily challenge.
Through Tzu Chi’s long-term care and educational support in Tembisa, volunteers came to understand this need and helped install solar-powered LED lights for families living without electricity.
These lights do more than brighten a home. They give children more time and opportunity to learn, while bringing greater safety and comfort to their families.
Education can change a child’s future, and sometimes that journey begins with something as simple as having enough light to study.
