Today, we had the privilege of spending the afternoon with the elderly from Hlokomelang Community Nutritional Development Centre during the handover of blankets to beneficiaries.
The gesture is a reminder that caring for our elderly goes beyond service delivery. It is about dignity, compassion and ensuring that no member of our community is left behind.
The centre plays an important role in supporting vulnerable community members through its Community kitchen programme that provides meals to approximately 50 beneficiaries every day for five days a week.
We extend our appreciation to the Supervisor, Mmatseleng Maropeng and the dedicated team at the centre for their continued commitment to serving the community.
Together we can continue building a caring and compassionate community where our elderly are valued, respected and supported.
