BELHAR LIBRARY OUTREACH 📚*

On Thursday, Belhar Library visited the little ones at *Masonwabe Preschool in Freedom Farm* for a special storytelling session!

Even if you cannot reach the library building, Belhar Library will reach YOU!

Because every child deserves a story — storytelling builds language, imagination and confidence, and benefits children in their upbringing. ❤️

Thank you Masonwabe Preschool for welcoming us with so much love!

📚🌍 Belhar Library Celebrates International Literacy Day!

Today Belhar Library invited five local crèches to enjoy a special storytelling session to celebrate International Literacy Day and help spread the importance of literacy!

After the story, the children were in for a big surprise - our local firefighters came to visit! 🚒🔥

They received a brief presentation about the important work firefighters do, and had a great time outside watching how they work!

Thank you to all the crèches, storytellers, and our brave firefighters for making the day so memorable!
