Royal Doulton | Biddy Pennyfarthing | HN 1843 | England, introduced 1937

She is movement where others are still — a figure caught mid-offer, mid-conversation, mid-day. Balloons gathered behind her, flowers extended forward, as though the transaction is still ongoing.

Among the Royal Doulton street vendor figures, Biddy remains one of the most animated — less reflective than The Old Balloon Seller, more immediate, more present.

One of the more recognisable figures in the series, and one that has never quite stood still.

Some objects are found. Others are waited for.

After some time away — spent sourcing, restoring, and quietly assembling — The Dancing Faun returns with intention.
There is something particular about antiques that resist urgency. They ask to be chosen slowly, lived with, and understood over time.
Over the coming weeks, a selection of pieces will begin to appear — each one considered, each one with its own history still intact.

Description:
Vintage (1965) Royal Copenhagen large Apple Blossom vase. Numbered 2629/2129.

The vase is of tapering circular form and decorated with flowers on a graduated blue and white background.

Stamped with the makers mark to base, ROYAL COPENHAGEN, DENMARK.

Dimensions:
Height: 27 cm
Diameter at widest point: 14 cm
Weight: 1, 460 kg

Condition:
Quality item and in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, restoration or surface scratches. Vase leans slightly off centre and not visible in the photos.

Beautiful vintage Royal Albert 'Old English Rose' pattern bone china large (6-8 cup) teapot. Made in England.

R3950

First quality item and in excellent used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or restoration present. Minor to no surface marks and minor gilding loss to handle and spout. Small scuff mark present on the side of the teapot, but hardly noticable and slight colour rubb to interior as per photo.
