VR Medical responded to the intersection of Walter Sisulu and van Schalcwyk str for a motor vehicle accident.

On arrival three patients were assessed by medical personnel and all were transported to hospital with minor to serious injuries.

It was wonderful to see the excitement, curiosity and big dreams of all the young ones as they shared what they want to become when they grow up. 👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️👩‍🏫👨‍🚀

🏑 Jim Fouché Hokkie Day 2026! 🏑

What an incredible weekend of hockey, talent and community spirit! 💙

VR MED was proud to provide the medical support for this year’s Jim Fouché Hokkie Day, where we had the privilege of watching some of the province’s upcoming young hockey stars in action.

With 14 hockey fields, plenty of exciting games, loads of food stalls and an amazing atmosphere, it was a fantastic day for players, coaches, parents and supporters alike. 🙌

We are always proud to support events that bring our communities together and give young people the opportunity to grow, compete and enjoy the sport they love.

A big well done to everyone involved in making the day such a success! 🏑👏

VR Medical and Busamed Private Hospital were proud to attend the Career Day at Raceway Park Day Care!

It was fantastic to see so many young, curious minds asking questions, learning about different professions, and discovering what it takes to make a difference in people’s lives. ❤️

From the ambulance service to the hospital environment, our teams were excited to share their experiences and give the children a glimpse into the world of emergency medical care and healthcare.

We believe that giving back to our community also means inspiring our children, encouraging their dreams, and showing them that every career has the power to make a difference. 🌍

On scene one patient was assessed and transported to hospital with serious injuries but two patients were declared on scene.
