Free State Legislature Launches Province Wide Food & Clothing Drive in Botshabelo
Botshabelo, Free State.
The Free State Legislature, in collaboration with the Mangaung Metro Municipality Office of the Deputy Mayor, has officially launched its province-wide Food and Clothing Drive at Samson Sefuthi Hall in N-Section, Botshabelo. The initiative is aimed at providing essential support to vulnerable families and communities across the province.
Generous contributions from sponsors including Meals on Wheels, Sasko, and Shoprite are helping to ensure that vital food and clothing supplies reach those most in need. In addition to material support, attendees also benefited from on-site services provided by key government departments such as the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), Department of Health, and Department of Home Affairs.
This ongoing campaign reaffirms the Legislature’s commitment to creating meaningful and lasting change in the lives of Free State residents. The drive will continue to roll out across the province, reaching even the most remote areas.
