We congratulate our primary school learners who participated in the Reading Cup Competition.
This competition aims to stimulate and promote active reading as the learners compete in different categories as follows: Grade 1-3 : Rhyme Recitation, Shared Reading, Paired Reading and building words an exercise in which learners make words on their own and say them aloud to be heard by everyone.
Grade 4-7 Book storytelling, news broadcast (Sports commentator, weather,news), Izinganekwane, Read aloud, book storytelling, and Spelling bee.

PARENTING WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG PARENTS IN INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS.

The program targets parents in the age rang of 15-24 years old to equip them with skills, knowledge, and support to raise healthy children, prevent further unplanned pregnancies, and link families to services that improve health, safety, and well-being.

They were taught basic child care: nutrition, immunization, hygiene, how to reduce child neglect and improve early childhood development in homes with limited resources and were provided with information on contraception, dual protection, and family planning to prevent repeat pregnancies.

The program emphasised HIV, TB, STIs, testing and PrEP treatment.

The new system is co-operating for renewals of drivers licenses and booking driver learner tests. We are still challenged by the PrDP service(NO PrDP’s). Remember we only take card payments and require you to bring a Dr’s eye test report.
