The VPUU subsidizes seeds and supplies as well as ensuring stipends and training for six farmers at the Labon Foundation urban farm in Bonteheuwel, Cape Town. The farm provides employment to many and supplements the supply of fresh vegetables to Early Childhood Development centres in the area.

In 2020 we were joined by Guerilla House and sustainable development student Natasha Piprek to learn about growing healthy seedlings for our urban farm in Bonteheuwel.
