🌟 Progress in Ward 68, Western Cape, since November 2021 🌟

As we approach November 2026 LGE and the conclusion of this term, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been achieved in Ward 68 in Western Cape since the inauguration on 18 November 2021.

Over the past four years, our councillors have faced challenges head-on and delivered meaningful, visible change for the community.

In the coming months, a full year-by-year reflection will be shared, highlighting the key milestones and interventions that have shaped this progress.

If our councillors can achieve this much in one ward… imagine what we can do with more councillors across the metro.

"After a devastating fire 10 years ago, Mona and her family spent nearly a decade in a rundown house, holding on through hardship and terrible winters!
Thanks to the incredible work of Cllr Malcolm Jacobs, Cllr Grant Classen & their team, their beloved home has been beautifully restored to its original glory!
This is true Heritage Day celebrations – because true heritage means preserving homes, families, and hope.

Grateful for this restoration story!

Cllr Grant Classen speaks on a shocking agenda item: the City wants to sell its shares in the CTICC for R1 billion!

🤔 Why would we sell shares in a profitable, revenue-generating asset that benefits the people of Cape Town?
�💰 The CTICC brings in millions every year – money that funds critical services for our communities.

This is short-term thinking that robs our future. Cape Town deserves better!
