VREDENBURG: 2
SPRINGBOK: 2
CAPE TOWN: 3
CONTRACT: 3 PERIOD: 1 YEAR (Venue to be disclosed during interview)

JOB PURPOSE:
➢ To attend to emergency calls and provide medical care in line with scope of practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Ensure operational readiness for emergency calls.
➢ Administer patient care in line with scope of practice
➢ Market and maintain a positive public image for SOUTH AFRICAN PARAMEDIC SERVICES CC

REQUIRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION
➢ Ambulance Emergency Care Assistant
➢ Current registration with HPCSA
➢ Code 10 drivers licence and PDP

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM: 6 months operational experience (EMS/PRIVATE)

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
➢ Application of best practises
➢ Basic computer literacy(MICROSOFT OFFICE)
➢ Facilities, travel routes and demographical areas
➢ HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
➢ Accurate and correct recording of patient report forms
➢ Proficiency in the English language(written and verbal)
