On Friday evening, 28 of our choir learners participated in Battswood Arts Centre 's musical showcase entitled, "A World of Difference" in collaboration with the brilliant STAR OF GLAD TIDINGS XMAS BAND as well as our neighboring schools Kannemeyer Primary School, Ferndale Primary School FPS , St Clement's Primary , Sid.G.Rule Primary School and Grassdale High School
With a powerfully simple motto of "ARTS FOR ALL", last night's Battswood Arts Centre concert could not have been more true to this! With acts performed by primary schoolers, high schoolers, past students, young emerging artists, staff members, those given their first solo stage as well as one of Cape Town's wonderful multi-generational Christmas bands, the evening was a dazzling musical showcase.

Special mention to our 'star newcomer' Grade 4 learner Chloe Galvin: after her recent selection for the prestigious Cape Town Opera Children's Chorus along with 3 of her Battswood classmates from Ferndale Primary, she performed her first duet. Also, well done to our 'seasoned showstopper' Grade 7 learner, Moegammat Zayd Damon, who offered the audience goosebumps of joy with his leading performances, and has been offered a full SACS Music scholarship for SACS Grade 8 in 2026!
