R388 million has been set aside for post settlement support. These resources are meant to support land restitution beneficiaries in making sure that land they receive as part of the land restitution program is a viable going concern.

We are making sure that our people are not just getting back their land, but that they are given the tools to work their land.

Over R2 billion has been allocated to Rural development in the mid-term.
The Department of Land Reform and Rural Development is committed in making sure that Land reform is at the center of development in this country.

Land reform remains at the centre of restoring dignity, economic participation and justice for our people. The allocation of R388 million towards infrastructure and production support, together with the successful restoration of approximately 3.9 million hectares of land, reflects a continued commitment to meaningful transformation and empowerment through land restitution.
