Brackenfell Community Police Forum

Brackenfell Community Police Forum In short it is a partnership between the police and the community. Community Police Forums (CPF’s) have been set up in almost every town in the country.

Some forums have been more successful than others, but where both sides have bought into the partnership and brought energy and commitment to it, the forums have made the streets a great deal safer. The police cannot make an area safe if the community does not help them. The community often has important information about crime, so we ask you to give this information to the police (or to CPF membe

rs) to help make your community a safer place to live and work in. If we want a safe community, we need as many people as possible to work together. The police, citizens, community leaders, business owners, schools, churches, government departments, etc. must become equal partners against crime. Everyone must join hands to improve the quality of life in the community.

Missing Children Awareness

Every child deserves to be safe, protected, and reunited with their loved ones. Missing Children Awareness serves as a reminder that the safety of our children is a shared responsibility between parents, communities, schools, and law enforcement.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) urges the public to remain vigilant and to report missing children immediately. There is no waiting period to report a missing child. The first few hours are critical and can make a significant difference in locating a child safely.

Awareness, education, and community involvement play a vital role in preventing children from going missing. By knowing where our children are, teaching them about personal safety, and reporting suspicious activities, we can help create a safer environment for all.

Together, let us stand united in protecting our children, raising awareness, and ensuring that every missing child has the best possible chance of being brought home safely.

"Protecting our children is everyone's responsibility."
