RATHER LATE THAN NEVER. THANKS TO Merle Alexander AND Owen Butler .YMCA Cape Flats is proud to reflect on a highly successful holiday programme hosted for learners involved in our school-based initiatives. The day was filled with energy, laughter, and meaningful engagement, creating a safe and enjoyable space for young people during the school break.
Learners were treated to a fun-filled experience, with the highlight of the day being an exciting ice skating session — a first time experience for many, and one that brought immense joy and unforgettable memories.
Programmes like these continue to play a vital role in promoting positive youth development, strengthening social connections, and providing enriching opportunities beyond the classroom.
