Today's removal. A wall fell over and the hive needed to be removed before the builders would repair the wall. Very calm bees so no protective gear needed.

Today we removed a massive hive that was six meters up in a palm tree.

The cupboard hive has grown..😁 Two years old now. The right side door blew shut during winter so they attached comb to it.

This is what it looks like when a trapout works and the ladies decide to leave with their queen. They landed on a tree about seven meters from the trap. I'll collect them tonight at sunset.

Removing bees from vines is always difficult. It took about an hour to open up enough for us to remove the comb.
