Dear all

Kindly spread the message across as Youth leaders needs to attend the first session to question the process on how the consultant company was appointed, also we need to carefull of a situation were consultants are given million of rand by City of Cape Town to undertake such research, all the need from us is “ intelectual capacity” and they forget about us.

I would like to encourage everyone to spread the message across and attend the first session schedule for nextweek,

Politicians, business & community leaders agree that we need a vision for Cape Town that will inspire us, that will include us everyone. A Vision that is brave & yet doable, if we work together. One that brings prosperity & equity to our region.

Freedthinkers, the company we are doing this work for, has been tasked by the City to facilitate a long-term common vision & goals, a strategy and some ideas about big projects that make a real difference. The process will be broad-based, inclusive & co-creative.

We are talking to leaders, residents, businesses, large & small, & civic organisations. In addition there will be many opportunities for people to input, in their own way & their own time. We analyse the inputs & present our findings to the City leaders.

Attached you will find a letter from our mayor, Patricia de Lille, outlining the objectives and goals of the special interest focus group discussions.

We would like to invite you to the

Civic Organisation Group that has been scheduled for Tuesday 13 March from 15h00 – 17h00 and will be held in the Foreshore area. Snacks and refreshments will be served.

Once I receive your confirmation that you are able send a representative from your organisation, I will forward you detailed information regarding the venue.

Kind regards

Interesting...sound more like a ANC initiative that was discuss...so are they (DA) taking things forward whereas the ANCYL are more focus on Julius...and actually forget the purpose of YOUTH!!!

Today the DA Youth is unveiling a billboard in central Johannesburg as a part of our youth wage subsidy campaign in order to take the struggle of unemployed young South Africans a step further.

Hold On!!

There have been times in my life when all seemed lost.
Life just wasn't worth living through another day.
Then you need to remember things that are important to you.

For as low as we fall there is always something or someone, somewhere
to help pull you back from the deep pits of darkness.
Once you feel yourself slipping grab onto that something or someone.

We wonder why life has given us such a bad deal. That is not the question.
Love, Hope, and Faith will guide us.
Look around and find the things you need to live for.
If we look hard enough, we will find the place we need to be.

Hold on for your loved ones, hold on for yourself.
God will take you when He needs you.
Until then make the most of what you have.
Give the most that you can, Love the best that you can, and never lose hope.

Each morning that you wake up, Thank God you are still alive,
to live another day to find your way.

Life is truly worth living for, if you look.
Find that place you need to be and just hold on.

If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believeth.
