🇬🇧 UK Alumni Event – London 2026
What a fantastic evening we shared at our UK Alumni Event in London on Tuesday night.
It was truly a night to remember, with so many familiar faces reconnecting after years apart, old friendships rekindled, and new connections formed. Despite the different paths our alumni have taken, everyone was united by a common bond — their time as Wetpups and the many happy memories of their boyhood in South Africa.
Headmaster, Wayne Naidoo, welcomed everyone and provided an inspiring update on the school and the many exciting developments that have taken place in recent years. While so much has changed for the better, it was reassuring to hear that the essence of Wetpups remains unchanged — a place where lifelong friendships are formed, character is built, and traditions continue to thrive.
A sincere thank you to everyone who attended. It was a privilege to spend the evening together, sharing stories, laughter, and memories while celebrating the strength of our alumni community.
A special highlight of the evening was our guest speaker, Jeremy Wilkinson. Despite being almost the youngest person in the room, Jeremy captivated everyone with the story of his journey to rowing for Cambridge University and shared fascinating insights into his PhD work at CERN, the world’s largest particle physics research laboratory. His achievements and experiences were both inspiring and thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
Thank you again to everyone who made the evening so special. We look forward to welcoming even more members of our alumni family to future gatherings.
