Our Story

The National Housing Stokvel Company (NHSC), is a social enterprise, registered as a (Pty.) LTD company.

We draw great inspiration from the Stokvel, in fact we started as a grocery stokvel, but then migrated to housing, as there was a greater need for active collaboration by community due to an acute shortage of housing for members.

The NHSC is a membership based organization and it members benefit from its programmes and activities... e.g. our funeral benefit for members (subject to member being active for 9 months or more)

Our most popular benefit is our “0% interest free housing assistance programme.”
