🐷🎨 WHEN OUR LITTLE PIGGIES PAINT THEIR FARMERS! 👩🌾🌾
Oh my goodness… this was SO MUCH FUN! 😂🐷🎨
For our Farm Theme, our wonderful teachers stepped into character and became our very own farmers! 👩🌾🌾
And then came the BEST part…
Our Little Piggies got to PAINT THEIR TEACHERS! 🖌️😂❤️
Not just a little handprint or a tiny picture either… they painted their farmers from head to toe!

The giggles, excitement and pure concentration were absolutely priceless! 🥹❤️
But behind all that fun was some VERY important learning.
This activity gave our children the opportunity to explore body awareness and spatial awareness as they identified and painted different parts of their teacher's body. They had to look, think, make decisions and carefully work around a real person.
It encouraged:
🧠 Cognitive development
👀 Observation skills
🎨 Creativity and self-expression
✋ Fine-motor control
🤲 Hand-eye coordination
🧍 Body awareness
🗣️ Language development as we named body parts
❤️ Confidence and social connection
😂 Sensory exploration and, most importantly… JOY!
And what made it even more meaningful was that our teachers were right there participating WITH the children. They became part of the learning experience rather than simply watching from the side.
The children were able to touch, paint, laugh, communicate, make choices and create something completely unique.
There was no right or wrong way to paint their farmer. Every colourful brushstroke was their own little expression. 🌈
And let's be honest… watching your teacher get painted from head to toe is pretty hilarious when you're a Little Piggy! 😂🐷👩🌾
This is exactly what we mean when we say learning through play and real experiences.
Sometimes the best classroom is a big sheet of paper, some paint, a willing teacher… and a group of very excited Little Piggies! 🐷🎨❤️

Nie net 'n klein handafdruk of 'n prentjie nie… hulle het hulle boere van kop tot tone geskilder!

Die giggels, opgewondenheid en konsentrasie was absoluut kosbaar! 🥹❤️
Maar agter al die pret was daar ook baie belangrike leer.
Hierdie aktiwiteit het ons Little Piggies gehelp om liggaamsbewustheid en ruimtelike bewustheid te ontwikkel. Hulle moes kyk, d**k, keuses maak en verskillende dele van hul onderwyser se liggaam herken en verf.
Dit het gehelp met:

En wat hierdie aktiwiteit nóg meer spesiaal gemaak het, is dat ons onderwysers SAAM MET die kinders deelgeneem het. Hulle het deel geword van die leerervaring eerder as om net van die kant af toe te kyk.
Die kinders kon kyk, verf, voel, lag, gesels, keuses maak en iets skep wat heeltemal uniek aan hulle was. 🌈
Daar was geen “regte” of “verkeerde” manier om hul boer te verf nie. Elke kleur, lyn en kwashaal was 'n klein stukkie van hulle eie kreatiwiteit en verbeelding. ❤️
En kom ons wees eerlik… om jou onderwyser van kop tot tone te mag verf, is nogal skreeusnaaks wanneer jy 'n Little Piggy is! 😂🐷👩🌾
Dít is presies wat ons bedoel met leer deur spel, ervarings en pret.
Soms is die beste klaskamer net 'n groot stuk papier, verf, 'n gewillige onderwyser… en 'n klomp baie opgewonde Little Piggies! 🐷🎨❤️
