📖Book Recommendation Wednesday📖
As it's school holidays, this week we have six children's picture book titles to keep your little ones entertained and are available to borrow at Kensington Library!😁
We've got:
- A story about Liam, a little elephant, who learns to be brave after being afraid of the dark
- A story about plants to inspire your little ones to have green fingers
- A story about learning to appreciate all seasons
- A story about Nina who visits magical places in her dreams. She then captures them by drawing it out
- A wordless picture book showing how the environment changes
- A fun and rhyming book a dinosaur doctor who goes around helping his friends

🖥️💡CODING4AFRICA - CODING WORKSHOPS 🖥️💡
Join Kensington Library’s coding teams for our coding workshop sessions leading up to the internal Coding4Africa Tournament!

We'll be learning unplugged coding using the tangible tokens.

🧠✨For children and teens between the ages of 9 to 17 (Grade 4 to Grade 12), visit the library to practice in teams and get tournament-ready!

📖Book Recommendation Wednesday📖
This week we have six teen and young adult titles; there's something different for each reader!😁
We've got a fantasy romance inspired by Persian mythology which is also book one in its series, a romance modern fairy tale telling of Cinderella, a dark and sinister supernatural novel, an inspiring novel following artistic Lori who navigates her parents' divorce and moving into a new school, a South African fantasy novel, and lastly, will the daughter of a matchmaker finally find her true love after a reconnection.🤗📚🤔

Dear parents, teachers, and caregivers, visit Kensington Library and collect our new Shapes Story Pack, it's free. 😎

The story packs are filled with activities, a DIY activity, a reading comprehension, and a shapes themed reading list that contains books which can be found in the Children sections of the library for all interested patrons!😊

The library opens at 10H00 and closes at 17H00 Monday through to Thursday, Friday 10H00 till 14H00, and Saturdays 09H00 till 12H00.
