On the 27th of July, learners from Lwandle High School visited Helderberg Nature Reserve for the first time since the school was opened this year and making it to be a 4th Secondary school in our nearby townships.

The learners were introduced on fynbos Biodiversity during the indoor classes that were facilitated in school. As part of the Green Communities Initiative, the learners were taken to a fynbos area where they will reconnect and appreciate nature. We are very happy that the learners have had an immersive experience with nature. Thanks to the school and the dedicated teacher At Sebzooka for making sure that the learners enjoy their excursion. This project is supported by Table Mountain Fund and WWF South Africa
