While significant ground has been covered in this regard, it has become clear that integrating three political parties, their structures, and their activists needs more time due to its intensity and complexity. It cannot be implemented effectively under the pressure of an election campaign. As a result, the parties have determined that the best option is to contest the 2026 LGE individually and pursue consolidation afterwards. In short, Unite for Change will not be on the ballot, while the GOOD Party, RISE Mzansi and BOSA will be.

🌍✨ This Easter, Unite for Change calls on South Africans to embrace peace, safety, and solidarity. As we journey to loved ones and reflect on renewal, let’s remember: dignity begins in our communities, and real change starts with functional local government.

Together, we can reclaim our shared future. πŸ’›πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦

🟠 Municipalities are the frontlines in the fight for human dignity.

On Human Rights Day, UNITE leaders reminded South Africans that fixing local government is key to restoring dignity, delivering services, and building prosperity.

Maimane pleads with political parties to fix local government.

Human Rights Day is both a moment to reflect and a call to lead.

Vuyiswa Ramokgopa MPL, National Chairperson of RISE Mzansi and a leader within Unite for Change, reminds us that we honour the sacrifices of those who came before us by the choices we make today
- to stand up, to lead, and to build the kind of government we want to see in our lifetime.

The future we deserve will not build itself - it requires all of us.

23/03/2026

Justice delayed is justice denied and we cannot speak about human rights without confronting the urgent need to restore dignity.

Dr Mmusi Maimane, Leader of BOSA and a leader within Unite for Change, reminds us that dignity is not an abstract ideal, it must be experienced in people's daily lives, through justice that is accessible, fair, and timely.

Human Rights Day is not only about remembrance, it is a call to act - to build a society where dignity is restored for all.

21/03/2026

Human Rights Day honours the sacrifices of Sharpeville and Langa, a reminder of the cost of dignity, freedom, and the right to live fully in our own country

Today, we reflect not only on where we come from, but on the responsibility to protect and uphold these rights in the present
