🚨 JOB SCAM ALERT 🚨

Carletonville Hospital wishes to alert members of the public to a fraudulent recruitment scam currently circulating within our community.

An individual is falsely claiming that Carletonville Hospital has vacancies available in the Laundry Department. The same individual is also recruiting people under the false pretence that his company has secured a security services contract at Carletonville Hospital and is requesting payment from prospective applicants.

The scammer is reportedly using the following contact numbers:

• Carletonville Hospital does NOT recruit staff via phone calls, WhatsApp messages, social media platforms, or external companies.
• The Hospital will NEVER request payment, deposits, administration fees, or any form of financial contribution in exchange for employment opportunities, interviews, assessments, or appointments.
• CVs are not accepted through unofficial WhatsApp numbers or personal email addresses.

Good morning our beautiful Merafong Community

MEC for Health and Wellness, , together with the Gauteng Department of Health’s Finance and Supply Chain Management team are currently in Carletonville District Hospital engaging locals SMMEs who raised concerns with the department regarding late payments of Local SMMEs. Merafong local political leadership led by Cllr Ernest Tibane, Carletonville District Hospital Board, West Rand District Health Management led by West Rand District Health Services Chief Director Ms Thembokuhle Ntuli-Karigani, and Carletonville District Hospital Management a part of the engagements. Some companies request to be considered in hospital business opportunities as local SMMEs. The follow-up meeting forms part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to address historical accruals, improve communication, and ensure that goods and services are delivered efficiently to support uninterrupted healthcare services, while ensuring all suppliers are paid within 30 days.
