Merafong City is buzzing with action as law enforcement agencies take to the streets as part of the Provincial Integrated Safety and Service Delivery Operations.

Members of SAPS, Gauteng Traffic Police, Gauteng Traffic Wardens, and Metropolitan, District and Local Police Departments have joined forces in coordinated joint roadblocks across the municipality.

These operations are aimed at strengthening law enforcement visibility, promoting road safety, tackling crime and ensuring safer communities for the people of Merafong.

HAPPENING NOW | MERAFONG INTEGRATED PROVINCIAL SERVICE DELIVERY PROGRAMME

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport, led by MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, is currently hosting the Merafong Integrated Provincial Service Delivery Programme in partnership with the Executive Mayor of Merafong City Local Municipality, Cllr. Nozuko Best.

The programme brings together government leaders and key stakeholders to discuss practical interventions to improve and rehabilitate roads across Merafong, while strengthening collaboration to enhance service delivery and improve the quality of life for all residents.
