Mmaletjema Lekalakala, continued to lead the conversation on child online protection. Through the Child Protection Month School Rollout, she equipped learners and educators with the knowledge to recognise online risks, report harmful content and make informed choices in the digital space.

"Age restrictions on social media platforms exist to help protect children from content and interactions they may not be ready for. Creating accounts using a false age can expose young people to unnecessary risks."

As part of , the FPB School Rollout is currently underway in Limpopo, kicking off at Flora Park Primary School in Polokwane. The FPB team engaged both learners and educators in educational sessions aimed at promoting online safety.

The discussions focused on how to identify and report harmful content, the importance of practising safe online behaviour and the shared responsibility we all have in protecting children in the digital environment.
