DONATION APPEAL
ADULT NAPPIES URGENTLY NEEDED
At Ceres Haven, we provide shelter, care, and support to vulnerable members of our community, including elderly persons, individuals living with disabilities, the homeless, and those who have nowhere else to turn.
Some of our residents rely on adult nappies to maintain their dignity, comfort, and personal hygiene. We are currently experiencing a shortage and kindly ask the community, businesses, churches, and organizations to assist us with donations of:
✓ Adult nappies (all sizes)
✓ Disposable underpads
✓ Wet wipes
✓ Personal hygiene products
Every donation makes a difference.
Your support helps us ensure that our elderly and vulnerable residents receive the care, dignity, and respect they deserve.
DONATIONS CAN BE DELIVERED TO:

Dear Loyal Supporters and Friends,
As Mandela Month approaches, we would like to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the incredible support you continue to show The Haven Night Shelter.
Year after year, your generosity through food donations, blankets, clothing, and countless acts of kindness has helped us care for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
While we are deeply grateful to our long-standing supporters, we also warmly welcome new donors and partners who would like to join us in making a meaningful difference during this year’s Mandela Month campaign.
This year, as we prepare for Mandela Day 2026, we would like to make our most urgent needs known and invite you to join us in our 67 Days of Giving Campaign leading up to Mandela Day.
Our goal this year is focused on restoring dignity to the people we serve through two essential needs: Details attached
• New Lockers – giving our clients a safe place to store the few personal belongings they own. Something as simple as a locker restores a sense of dignity, security, and self-worth.
• Water-Resistant PVC Mattresses – helping us maintain a clean, hygienic, and durable sleeping environment for clients coming directly from the streets or transitioning out of homelessness.
We believe that if the wonderful support and generosity you already show us can be directed toward these specific goals, it will make a deeply meaningful and lasting impact for the people we serve.
This initiative can also become a meaningful team or staff project within your organisation. Over the 67 Days of Giving, your staff can work together toward sponsoring lockers or mattresses as part of your company’s CSR and Mandela Day efforts.
We would love to build up to a special Dignity Project handover week leading up to Mandela Day, where we can celebrate the impact together, share stories of hope, and capture beautiful moments and photographs that showcase your commitment to making a real difference in the lives of others.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps restore hope and human dignity.
Thank you once again for always standing with us and for helping us create positive change in our communities.
Together, let us make Mandela Day count.
