Developing Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurship is about change and transformation. It starts with an individual who has a vision which many a time is invisible to others. To that end it can become lonely. Incubation per se provides support so that the journey has the necessary support camaraderie and resources necessary to ensure that the dream becomes reality. The Innovation Hub becomes the official workplace and office for the entrepreneur. the staff are available to support the entrepreneur.
The recent addition to the Incubation is the Makerspace. It has a design studio, 3d printing space and production area. The essence is that any idea can become a product manufactured to serve a market. The recent disruption through corona virus pandemic has taught us one lesson in business. It is that our supply chain should not be dominated by a single company, nation. This is going to become conspicuous in the coming months. The is where the Makerspace becomes relevant providing design tools, software for literally anything under the sun and then production facilities.
