Greater Letaba Municpality bids farewell to Ms Gugu Nhlane, Senior Manager for Technical Services.
Ms Nhlane has served the municipality for 12 Years in different positions, from PMU manager to Senior Manager.

She leaves the municipality with extensive experience and served the municipality with diligence and commitment.
Speaking at the farewell function, EXCO member cllr Rito Baloyi thanked her for her hard work and dedication.

The Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET) hosted a Biodiversity Awareness Forum at the Modjadji Traditional Authority in commemoration of International Biodiversity Day, with the Greater Letaba Municipality joining various stakeholders in attendance.

The awareness engagement focused on educating communities about endangered species and the importance of protecting biodiversity to safeguard the environment for future generations.

The programme further highlighted the vital role of environmental conservation in sustaining ecosystems, supporting livelihoods, and preserving the country’s natural heritage.

As part of the programme, participants visited the iconic Modjadji Nature Reserve, a unique conservation area renowned for its rich biodiversity and rare plant species that form an important part of South Africa’s environmental heritage.

The initiative reaffirmed a collective commitment towards environmental stewardship, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development.
