🚗 Empowering Communities to Prevent Drink-Driving Through Education and Awareness.

📍 While MILE continues to facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing across multiple platforms today. Part of our team are in Johannesburg facilitating the Autosobriety Training Programme to Prevent Drink-Driving – Training of Trainers, Workshop, an initiative aimed at strengthening road safety through knowledge sharing, capacity building, and behavioural change.

Hosted by CIFAL Durban and MILE in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the Auto Sobriety Training Program, and key local partners, the workshop equips participants with the tools and skills needed to champion responsible road use and help reduce alcohol-related road incidents in their communities.

Road safety is a shared responsibility. By investing in education and empowering trainers, we can create safer roads, save lives, and contribute to the goals of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021–2030.

Together, we can drive change and build a culture of responsibility behind the wheel.
