The KZN Coastal and Marine Science Seminar Series continues. This year, it will take place at the UKZN Westville Campus on the 19th of June 2026 from 12h30 - 13h30.

Mr Geremy Cliff, who specialises in the research and conservation of sharks and rays and served at the Natal Sharks Board for 36 years will be the speaker.

The South African Navy will on the 19th - 21st of June 2026 commemorate World Hydrography Day to showcase the vital role of hydrography in maritime safety, environmental protection, and sustainable economic growth.

There will be pop-up concerts across the city of eThekwini with ships open for visits and exhibitions at the N-Shed Port of Durban:

EThekwini Maritime Cluster's 4th Annual Golf Day brought together industry professionals for a memorable day of networking and collaboration.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the valued collaboration of our sponsors: Grindrod Limited , the prize-giving and gala dinner sponsor; Womaritime Experts , the Halfway House sponsor; Isiqu Foundation , the apparel sponsor; and aQuellé, the hydration sponsor to name a few.

The day of friendly competition and sportsmanship culminated in a gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony, providing a platform to recognise the participants and strengthen industry connections.

The eThekwini Maritime Cluster’s 4th Annual Golf Day culminated in a gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony, where awards were given for 1st to 3rd place, Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Best Female Team, and Best Dressed.

The Golf Day was a great success. Thank you to all sponsors, partners, and participants whose contributions helped make the event a memorable occasion at Cotswold Downs Golf and Country Estate.
