Some days I look around me and have to laugh… I’ve somehow ended up surrounded by the most wonderfully weird, chaotic, hardworking humans.🥰

And yes, before anyone says anything… we are wearing rugby shirts instead of soccer shirts. Yes, I was told multiple times exactly what shirts to buy for the SOCCER. No, I did not buy those shirts. 🫢😂

Running a small business is a lot, but having a team like this makes even the hard days feel lighter.

The truth is, The Market isn’t the building, the coffee, the cakes or the garden. It’s the people.

Today I’m just feeling grateful. Grateful for the laughs, the loyalty, the hard work, and for the fact that somehow, against all odds, we’ve built a little family here at 185 Lothian Road.

Thank you for helping make this crazy little dream a reality every single day.♥️

Tomorrow, Saturday 30th, we’re hosting an epic Fortnite party and our venue will be closing at 12pm to prepare for the action!

We’ll be serving breakfast, coffee, treats and all your favourites until 11:30am, so pop in early and fuel up before the Battle Bus takes off. 🦙✨

Mama T’s famous Swiss roll is back tomorrow and this week’s one might just be our favourite yet…🍓✨

Light, fluffy sponge rolled with strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream, topped with thinly sliced strawberries and an extra dollop of cream for good measure. Simple, nostalgic flavours and honestly the perfect treat with a coffee.

Last week’s apricot and cream Swiss roll vanished within the day, so if you missed out… tomorrow’s your chance.😉
