Members of the media participated in an inspection in loco at the uMkhomazi Dam construction site to receive a firsthand update on the progress of the project. The visit formed part of efforts to provide an in-depth briefing on the work undertaken by the Presidential eThekwini Working Group, with particular focus on Phase Two implementation.During the site visit, technical experts provided a detailed briefing on the construction progress of the uMkhomazi Dam and the associated uMkhomazi Water Project, highlighting key milestones achieved, current activities underway, and the anticipated impact of the project in strengthening long-term water security for eThekwini and surrounding areas
