🔴 THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE: Our people are still living in appalling conditions! 🔴

​It is heartbreaking and shocking that the bucket toilet system still exists in the rural areas of Oudtshoorn today. Today, GOOD Councillor Oktober visited a farm where residents are forced to live under these harsh and undignified conditions.

​As a representative of the GOOD party, Cllr Oktober stands firmly against injustice and speaks out against every form of unfair treatment in our communities. It is a complete violation of human dignity that our people—especially our elderly citizens—still have to rely on a bucket toilet system or are forced to make use of the bush. 💔
​Immediate action is being taken:
​Urgent Engagement: Cllr Oktober has immediately engaged with the Housing Department of the Municipality.

​The Demand: A full investigation into the matter must happen now, and the municipality must supply these residents with mobile toilets as an immediate relief measure.

​We cannot stay silent while our vulnerable communities and elderly suffer like this. GOOD will continue to fight for justice, proper service delivery, and human dignity for all!
