We are proud to officially unveil and share our new Regional Task Team (RTT) contact cards, marking a renewed chapter of leadership, coordination, and service within the structure.
This team represents energy, commitment, and a collective drive to strengthen youth participation, unity, and effective organisation across all spaces we occupy. The Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality (BCMM) South African Youth Council (SAYC) is pleased to share that we held a fruitful bilateral meeting which was held virtually, with the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality (BCMM) to formally introduce the newly appointed Regional Task Team (RTT).

The RTT is led by Convener Zimasa Dungwe and Coordinator Liyema Mafani, who will be steering the work of the SAYC within the metro.

The engagement was highly productive and has paved a positive way forward in strengthening collaboration between the SAYC and the municipality, particularly in advancing youth development programmes across BCMM.

We look forward to building a strong, structured partnership that delivers meaningful impact for young people in our communities.
