The Summit seeks to provide a platform for participation by young professionals, young entrepreneurs, unemployed graduates, and other young people whose experiences and skills can help shape responses to the challenges facing the youth in the Eastern Cape.

The Summit also seeks to reintegrate ‘alumni’ of the EFF Students Command (EFFSC) who no longer qualify for EFF Youth Command (EFFYC) membership due to age, or whose professional and personal commitments limit full-time political activism, and provide them with platforms for effective organisational participation.

The deadline for RSVPs is Friday, 12 June 2026, before 12H00. Participants are encouraged to RSVP using this link:

The EFF Eastern Cape will convene a 3-Day Youth Engagement Summit from 13–15 June 2026 as part of a deliberate effort to reconnect with former leaders of the EFFSC and strengthen youth participation in the organisation.

The engagement will provide a platform for former EFF Students Command members, young professionals, entrepreneurs, unemployed graduates, students, and community activists to engage on the challenges facing young people and contribute their experiences, ideas, and expertise to the work of the movement.

The EFF Matatiele Sub-Region, led by Subregional Convenor, Commissar Babalwa Mathulelwa and Coordinator Fighter Aubrey Ntsoti Ntsenyeo, visited the Home Affairs office in Matatiele to assist children who do not have birth certificates and to engage on interventions to address documentation challenges affecting learners.

The EFF also made arrangements with Home Affairs for a Mobile Truck to visit high schools across Matatiele to assist learners with identity document applications and other essential services, ensuring that no young person is left behind.
