Today the ANCYL gathered by candlelight to honor and celebrate the life of comrade Siyanda "Booga" Peteni. The programme showed a collective commitment to remember him with dignity. In this moment of shared grief, The ANCYL of T. T Feni affirms that compassion must rise above division, and that our responsibility to one another does not end in disagreement. May his light strengthen our resolve to choose dialogue over harm, humanity over hatred, and remembrance over silence.

The ANCYL welcomes the outcomes of the first Branch General Meeting of the ANC and congratulates the newly elected BEC Executive Committee. We appreciate the strong reports presented on:
🗳️ Political work
👥 Membership and youth participation
💼 Recruitment and mobilisation programmes

We also welcome and support the Branch’s Action Plan and Annual Calendar, which outline clear programmes that place young people at the centre of organisational renewal.

A big appreciation to the Ward Councillor, who delivered an important update on ward developments as an ex officio member.

As the Youth League, we remain committed to energising the Branch, driving activism, and amplifying the voice of young people in our community. ✊🏽🔥
